Trek to Dayara Bugyal, Dodital & Yamnotri, Grade - moderate  to difficult (May to Oct)

Option to extend trek:  Trek from Har-ki-dun to Ruinsara lake to Yamnotri and continue trekking to Dodital and Dayara Bugyal

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi International Airport, pickup and drive to Uttarkashi, Hot lunch enroute, night stay in camp at Barsu, a tiny village 20 kms away from Uttarkashi

Day 2 Barsu to Barnala bugyal (6 kms/4 hrs) This is the first day of our trek. We start ascending a trail through pine forests to Barnala Bugyal. the peak, Draupadi ka Danda is seen all along the trail. We camp on this plateau for the night.

Day 3 Barnala Bugyal to Dayara Bugyal, 6 kms/2.5 hrs, we trek on a well-laid out trail through the pine forests and get above the tree line onto the alpine meadows of Dayara Bugyal. This beautiful sloping meadow is an attraction for skiers during winter. Camp overnight.

Day 4 Dayara Bugyal to Nimdhar, 16 kms/6 hrs, a long day ! Our route is through rolling meadows and rhododendrons, on one side we can see peaks Kalang and Draupadi ka Danda and on the other deep valley, our campsite which is at a much lower altitude than Dayara Bugyal, is situated in a thick forest

Day 5 Nimdhar to Dodital, 16 kms/6hrs, another long day ! First 2 hrs we descend through thick predominantly bamboo forest to Dodigad and start ascending to Sangam chatti and then a flat walk of about 2 hrs will get us to Dodital.

Day 6 Rest day at Dodital, the scenic beauty of Dodital can compel any nature lover to camp here for days together, the lake, the surrounding pine forest, the towering Darwa Bugyal on one side and the valley on the other is serene and enticing. The parikrama around the lake is of 1.5 kms. A few streams coming from Darwa Bugyal feed the lake.

Day 7 Dodital to Darwatop

Day 8 Darwatop to Sima

Day 9 Sima to Hanuman Chatti

Day 10 Hanuman chatti to Yamnotri and back to Janki Chatti.

Day 11 Drive back from Janki Chatti, Dinner/ Board the night train to Delhi programme ends at Dehra dun Railway station (arrival 0700 Hrs Old Delhi railway station next day)

Trek to Panwali 'Bugyal', Kedarnath & Vasukital,

 Grade- Moderate to difficult, April to October,

BUGYAL - Bugyal is an extensive pasture lands generally found at height of over 2750 meters above sea level. They are mostly somewhat flat lands with undulating slopes covered with lush green grass and colorful flowers growing in Himalayas during summer and monsoons, they are the favorite camping grounds of the vanishing nomad tribes of Himalayas who roam with their flocks of animals and sheep herds. Most Bugyals are close to snow lines of Himalayas but some are so high and beautiful that even the mighty Himalayas pale into insignificance before their beauty. To camp under the stars in a bugyal is a heavenly experience which can not be put down to words.

PANWALI BUGYAL sits at an altitude from 2745 to 3970 meters on the old pilgrim trail from Gangotri to Sri Kedarnath. it is an green land with beautiful slopes studded with patches of forests. During summers the whole bugyal is covered in a carpet of flowers. After Panwali Bugyal the trek continues to Sri Kedarnath ji, the seat of Lord Shiva before returning to New Delhi

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi and drive 250 kms to our base camp at Dehradun, hot lunch enroute, trap/target shooting in the camp

Day 2 Drive to Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Chamba, Ghansali (976 M) and then to Ghuttu (1524 M) with packed lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Tourist rest House in Ghuttu 

Day 3 Trek 4 kms to Gaumanda (2134 m) and a further 3 kms to Duphanda (2896 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 4 Trek 3 kms to Panwali Bugyal (3936 m) hot lunch in camp, Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 5 Trek 4 kms to Kyunkholakhal (3658 m) and a further 2 kms to Maggu-ki-Mandi (3050 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp 

Day 6 Trek 5 kms to Triyuginarayan (1982 m) and a further 3 kms to Soneprayag (1830 m) with packed lunch, Dinner and overnight in Tourist Rest House

Day 7 Drive 5 kms to Gaurikund and trek 13 kms to Sri Kedarnath (3583 m) Dinner and overnight in Hotel/Tourist Rest House at Kedarnath (one of the four scared Hindu religious birth place of Lord Shiva) or Drive back to Haridwar to catch the night train to New Delhi  

Day 8 Trek to Vasukital with packed lunch trek back to Kedarnath, night halt in Hotel

Day 9 Trek Back to Gaurikund and drive back to Haridwar, Dinner, catch the Night train to Delhi (arrival 0700 Hrs Old Delhi railway station)

Trek to Kuari pass 

Grade : Moderate Difficult (April to October)

Kuari - at a height of 4268 meters above sea level is a well known name to those interested in trekking in Himalayas and is very popular among European and American trekkers. This trek was first made by an English person called Curzon in 1905 and since then it has come to be known as Curzon's trail.

At Kuari, one is enraptured by the vast views of valleys to the south-east and the Himalayas to the North-east. The main attraction of Curzon's trail is the majestic view of the twins peaks of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dunagiri, Hathi-Ghodi, Parwat, Bethartoli & Devasthan. Trek passes through pristine Rhododendron, Oak & Deodar jungles amid rare Himalayan flora and fauna.

Gailgarh, five kilometers from Kuari, is a wonderful place set in beautiful surroundings, from where little treks can e made, specially to Pangarchulia peak (5185 m) from where several other peaks and bugyals can be seen in all their beauty.

Another interesting place six kilometers from Gailgarh is 'Bore Kund' a lovely deep lake which has a perimeter of more than a kilometer and is surrounded by thick forests.  

Trek to Kuari Pass can be organized from Devprayag or from Joshimath, the trek from Devprayag is longest and the Joshimath route can be changed while coming back to cover new area called Tapowan which has hot water springs to rejuvenate the trekkers before they travel back. Any of these trails can be combined to suit one's requirement. 

Trek (1) from Nandprayag - Ghat - Jhenjipatni - Kuari pass

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi International Airport, pick up and drive to Dehradun, Hot Lunch en route, overnight at Our Base camp in Dehradun

Day 2 Drive to Nandprayag (altitude 914 M, 240 kms) with hot lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Nandprayag

Day 3 Drive to Ghat (altitude 1331 M, 20 kms) and 13 kms trek to Rami with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 4 Trek 13 kms to Jhenjipani (altitude 1524 M) with packed lunch, Dinner and overnight in Camp  

Day 5 Trek 12 kms to Panarani

Day 6 Trek 10 kms to Domabhitti (altitude 2286 M) with packed lunch,

Day 7 Trek 5 kms to Kuari pass  (altitude 4268 M) with packed lunch,

Day 2 Drive to Joshimath (altitude 1890 M, 180 kms) hot lunch at Joshimath, dinner and overnight stay at Auli (altitude 2744 M) or at Joshimath (depending on local conditions)

Day 3 Trek 3 kms from Auli to Gorson (altitude 4268 M) and another 5 kms to Tali (altitude 3506 M)

Day 4 Trek 4 kms to Chitrakantha (altitude 3506 M) and then 3 kms to Gailgarh (altitude 3658 M)

Day 5 Trek 5 kms to Kuari camping grounds (altitude 4268 M)

Return Trek from Kuari Pass - Gailgarh - Khulara - Tapawan - Joshimath  

Day 1 Trek 5 kms from Kuari to Gailgarh with packed lunch and another 6 kms to Khulara (altitude 2896 M)

Day 2 Trek 10 kms from Khulara to Tapowan, bath in Hot water springs and drive 15 kms to Joshimath to spend the night in Tourist Guest House.

ROOPKUND The Mystery trek

Grade : Moderate to Difficult (May to June & September to October)

Roopkund is located at a height of 4780 meters above sea level in the lap of Trisul Massif (7123 m) It is called a mystery lake due to a number of Human skeletons which can be seen scattered around that area. There are a number of theories regarding those skeletons and they are considered to be 200 to 300 years old. 

A great Four horned Ram is believed to be born every twelve year in this area and is used in a trek called 'Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra' which happen every twelfth year originating from Nauti village of this region, the ram leads the whole trek of Raj Jat Yatra up to the shrine of Nanda Devi and then disappears in the snowy heights suddenly, every year small treks are organized by the villagers and those are the moments when it is as exiting and colorful as it can be, a never to be missed opportunity to be in this area at that particular time...

So much so for the religious flavor of this area, about the trek now..

Day 1 Delhi to Haridwar by Train/taxi, transfer to Hotel, attend evening prayers at Holi Temples at Har-ki pauri  

Day 2 After early breakfast leave Haridwar to Mundoli (2135m)  via Karnaprayag (795 m) a distance of 190 kilometers passing through Ganga valley, a post lunch drive of further 75 kms brings us to Mundoli. our night halt

Day 3 Mundoli to Wan (2440 m) 2km by Motor, 14 km trek, camp for night 

Day 4 Wan to Gairoli Patali (3050 m) a trek of 9 kms, camp for night

Day 5 Gairoli Patali to Patar Nachauni (3660 M) a trek of 11 kms, camp for night

Day 6 Patar Nachauni to Roopkund (4780 m) a trek of 10 kms, camp for night

Day 7 Trek back to Patar Nachauni

Day 8 Trek back to Gairoli Patali

Day 9 Trek back to Wan

Day 10 Trek back to Mundoli

Day 11 Drive back to Haridwar, Dinner,  programme ends here, Board Night train to Delhi

Trek to Chota Kailash

Grade- Moderate to difficult, April to October, 

Kailash mountain and the Mansarovar lake are the mythological abode of the Gods as per Hindu scriptures, both are now in Chinese Tibet, but a mountain looking like Kailash but slightly smaller in height can be trekked, Unlike Mansarovar Lake which is huge, there is a small lake called Parvati Sarover at the foot of Small Kailash.

Located in the beautiful mountain district of Pithoragarh, this beautiful trek starts from Tawaghat, the road head and a eight days trek takes us to Chota Kailash, Trekkers are required to obtain Visiting permit for this trek  Please book this trek at least two months in advance so that we may get all permission/paper work done in time. 

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi International Airport, pickup and drive 250 kms to Nainital, the lake city in Himalayas, hot lunch enroute, visit Tallital, Mallital night stay in Tourist Guest House at Bhimtal

Day 2 Drive to Tawaghat (1524 M) with packed lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Tourist rest House in Tawaghat

Day 3 Drive 8 kms to Pangu (1692 m) Trek 7 kms to Sirkha (2000 m) with packed lunch, further trek of 5 kms to Gala (2153 m) Dinner/overnight in camp

Day 4 Trek 10 kms to Malpa (1846 m) with packed lunch, Dinner/overnight in camp

Trek to Pindari Glacier 

 Grade- Moderate to difficult, April to October,

This world famous glacier is a trekkers paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped NANDA DEVI and NANDAKOT mountains. The river Pindari originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude of 3353 mtrs

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi International Airport, pick up take overnight train to Kathgodam to arrive next morning  

Day 2 Drive to Song (110kms) via Kausani, stopping at Baijnath temple, then to Bageshwar junction of Saryu and Gomti rivers to reach Song in the evening. Trek 3 kms to Loharkhet (1750 Mtrs) for stay in Tourist rest house

Day 3 A 11 km trek to Dhakuri (2690Mtrs) with packed lunch, Overnight in rest house/tents.

Day 4 Trek to Khati, (9km) with packed lunch, Overnight in rest house/tents 

Day 5 Trek to Dwali, (11km) with packed lunch, Over night in tents                 

Day 6  After lunch leave for Phurikia (5km) Stay overnight in tents

Trek to Milam Glacier 

Grade : Moderate to Difficult (May to October)

At an altitude of 4267 mts and spread around 37 sq kms. is the mighty GLACIER OF MILAM. it is surrounded by 52 high peaks, river GORI-GANGA originates from the south of Milam Glacier

Day 1   Fly to New Delhi take overnight train to arrive at Kathgodam next morning            

Day 2   Drive to Munsiyari, Night stay at Tourist Guest House

Day 3    Trek to Lilam (16 kms) Overnight in Tents, Packed Lunch en route

Trek to Rudranath, visit last Indian Village Mana & Sri Badrinath ji

Grade : Moderate  to Difficult (April to October)

Rudranath is a Lord Shiva shrine also one of the Panch Kedars, located at the height of 2286 meters, one can view the glittering snow capped peaks of Trishul, Nanda Devi and Devasthan in all their grandeur. The meadows are awash with flowers and herbs.

Day 1 Fly to New Delhi International Airport, pick up and drive 250 kms to our base camp at Dehradun, hot lunch enroute, trap/target shooting in the camp

Day 2 Drive to Gopeshwar (altitude 1300 M,  kms) with hot lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Tourist rest house in Gopeshwar

Day 3 Drive to Gangolgaon (altitude 1400 M, 3 kms) and 8 kms trek to Panar (2286) with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 4 Trek 5 kms to Naila (3354 m) and a further 4 kms to Rudranath (2286 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 5 Trek 12 kms to Dumak (2134 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 6 Trek 5 kms to Kalgont* (2075 m) and a further 8 kms to Kimana (2073 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp * camp can be set up at Kalgont also 

Day 7 Trek 3 kms to Palla (2073 m) and a further 8 kms to Urgam (2134 m) with packed lunch,  Dinner and overnight in camp 

Day 8 Trek 9 kms to Helang (1524 m) and a further 14 kms Drive to Joshimath (1890 m) for Hot lunch,  Dinner and overnight Auli

Day 9 Drive 48 kms to Sri Badrinath (3110 m) & Mana the last Indian village before Chinese Tibet Night Halt at Sri Badrinath Tourist Guest House or in Mana village

Day 10 Drive Back to Haridwar, Dinner/catch the night train to Delhi programme ends at Railway station

OPTION on Day 8 you can drive back to Haridwar also to catch night train to Delhi if you do not want to visit Sri Badrinath, the most revered and scared Hindu pilgrim centre (not recommended if you have time)
